About Lutheran Unity School Association
Lutheran Unity School was developed out of the need to find a way to maintain quality Christian, Lutheran education on the northwest side of Chicago. Four LCMS NID (Lutheran Church Missouri Synod / Northern Illinois District) congregations consisting of, Our Saviour, Messiah, Jehovah & St. Paul came together in the spring of 2010 to study how to merge their schools into one organization. Out of the consolidation came one new school with two campuses -- the Lutheran Unity School Association.
The association consists of one east and one west campus. The West campus, home to St Paul Lutheran Church is located in the Norwood Park neighborhood of Chicago with the suburbs of Park Ridge and Rosemont nearby. The east campus is home to Jehovah El Buen Pastor Lutheran Church and is located in the Logan Square neighborhood of Chicago.
Together, both campuses are unified in curriculum activities and sports to create a single entity for Christian education.
