Tuition assistance

This program is designed to assist those families who need help offering their children a Christ-centered education by providing assistance with tuition.

The general type of assistance will be in the form of a need-based scholarship.  Resources for these awards will be the funds available in the Association tuition assistance budget.  The amount of the award per family will be based on demonstrated need and will be applied to the tuition rate for the current school year.  These amounts do not have to be repaid, however, recipients are expected to fulfill the guidelines as outlined below.

In addition, families may be eligible for additional assistance through their congregations and are encouraged to explore these possibilities.  Any awards from Association congregations will be applied based on direction and receipt of funds.

  • In order to operate the tuition assistance program in a dignified and objective manner, all information must remain confidential, including the amounts of individual family awards.
  • All tuition and outstanding obligations from the preceding year must be paid in full before a student will be eligible for tuition assistance in the coming year.
  • The tuition assistance will be at the discretion of the Tuition Assistance Committee, which will include members of the Association Finance Committee, with at least one representative from each Association congregation.  The Principal and any Association Pastors will serve as advisors.
  • Families receiving tuition assistance are expected to participate and actively volunteer, as able, in school activities and fulfill expected parent responsibilities.
  • Families requesting tuition assistance will be required to pay the registration fee at the time of registration.
  • Families requesting tuition assistance will submit a completed application, along with all requested documents, to the Tuition Assistance Committee by the requested deadline.
  • The criteria for awards will include but are not limited to:  (1) expressed need of the family   (2) timeliness of application (3) the family income guidelines established by the Federal Government for free and reduced lunches.

Interested families must complete the attached Income disclosure form and supply all other requested documents.  These should be submitted in a sealed envelope,  addressed to the Tuition Assistance Committee,  to your current school office.
